Two-component epoxy coating / low viscosity water-based primer
A two-component, special epoxy coating / water-based primer designed for use at a ratio of 1:1 by volume. The viscosity of the material is low, and the shelf life is for a long time, which makes it ideal for use in everyday life, independently without professional skills.

Application procedure

Before applying thoroughly clean from dust, dirt, rust, oil products, cement solution, layer of plaster, paint and other materials that prevent adhesion. Remove particles, loose and easily peeling layers and other foreign materials must also be removed.

Mix the two components until a homogeneous mass with a mixer at low speed (up to 300 r/ min), can be diluted to 10% with pure water.
• As a primer - apply with a brush or roller, in one or two thin layers, with common maximum flow 150-200 ml/m2.
• As a coating - apply using a roller or notched trowel in three layers, with a total flow rate of 500-600 ml/m2.

The number of hours of the time coating of the next layer cannot be defined since it is a strongly dependent on weather conditions: it may be up to 2 hours during the summer and up to 24 hours during the winter. Use the following rule to determine when the next layer is applied.

Recoating with the material is possible, when the preceding layer hardens to such an extent that it cannot be pierced with a fingernail.
• The viability of the material after mixing is 1 hour at 25° C.
• Do not use when temperature is below 5° C.
• Before applying (in the summer), heated concrete should be moistened.

It can be stored for 12 months minimum in the original unopened buckets in dry places at temperatures between 5° C to 25° C. Once opened, use as soon as possible.
ISOPOLANT AQUA 2K is solvent free. However, it is recommended to follow standard safety rules. The MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheet) is available upon request.
